***EARLY LAFAYETTE SEWAGE SYSTEM BEGINNINGS
WASTE WATER.
A large drain pipe is being laid from the Gordon Hotel south along Jefferson street to the big ditch. It is to carry off all waste water from the hotel and is being put down by the hotel owners.
